Oriental Poppy - Papervum Orientale Scarlet

There is nothing subtle about this - after a period of looking very sweet & shy with a drooping bud covered in a fine grey-green hairy cloak, one fine day out leaps this! It doesn't last for long, but is glorious, and the seed heads afterwards are lovely too.
